We were saying unbelievable, not impossible. I’ve been keeping that in my mind and returning to it a lot. Such great conversation. Thanks for the recap/reminders about it :)
I know you really want to read it, but can we read the Honeyman Festival for our next book after this when we have time to procure it, as it is not available at the Montreal library network, and shipping from any bookseller is 1-4 weeks... I'm able to get an e-pub at least, but not everyone has an e-reader.
I'm currently listening to This Accident of Being Lost. LOVE LBS's writing and music, so that would be an easy choice for me. As a follow up to Nightbitch though, which I did end up getting absorbed by after our meeting and her wondrous transformation (!!!), I'm inclined towards Sorrowland. As I shared with Magda via voice mail (once I got into NB) I'd love to think/ explore further what this going feral allows for, exactly in that moment when we're at our most tender/ caring selves... What are the wild sides we go to/ wish for/ are expelled to or fantasize about?
Thanks for this! So many of the suggestions sound amazing—I want to read them all but feel particularly drawn to the last two (The Leavers and Self-Portrait with Boy). So far any of those dates work for me.

ahhh, yes! I will fix that. Thank you, that makes much more sense. I've been thinking about the book since too --- what book choice are you into, E?

The Leavers also sounds intriguing to me.
